Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience in requirements gathering, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), defect tracking, and validation activities.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements or automation opportunities.
- Contribute to product roadmaps, backlog prioritization, and sprint planning activities.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and insights using Excel, SQL, or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, IT, QA, and Operations) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation, workflows, and business process maps.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, consulting, or product development environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum frameworks using Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency with Excel, SQL, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of SDLC, business process modeling, and data-driven decision-making.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to DevOps, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in digital transformation or enterprise-scale projects.
- Understanding of KPI tracking, A/B testing, or data analytics concepts.
