Overview
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building, automating, and integrating security solutions. The role involves developing secure applications, creating scripts for threat detection and remediation, and enhancing security automation pipelines to protect enterprise systems and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure Development: Design, code, and implement security features and controls within applications and systems.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.) to automate security monitoring, incident response, and compliance checks.
- Tool Integration: Integrate security tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS) with enterprise systems for improved visibility and alert correlation.
- Vulnerability Remediation: Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to address vulnerabilities in code and configurations.
- Security Testing: Participate in code reviews, threat modeling, and penetration testing support for internal and external applications.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for scripts, integrations, and implemented solutions.
- Cloud & API Security: Implement secure APIs and cloud-native security configurations across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 3 years in cybersecurity software development or security engineering.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript for security automation and integration.
- Tool Experience: Hands-on with SIEM (Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.
- DevSecOps Knowledge: Familiarity with integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Cloud Security: Understanding of cloud security models, IAM, encryption, and container security.
- Documentation & Collaboration: Strong ability to communicate complex security implementations clearly and concisely.
