Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with at least 3 years of experience in data management, analytics, and visualization. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support data governance, improve data quality, and deliver insights that drive business decisions. This role requires strong analytical thinking, technical proficiency, and the ability to translate data into actionable intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements and design analytical solutions.
- Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and performance tuning.
- Maintain data integrity by implementing and monitoring data quality rules and governance standards.
- Document data models, lineage, and metadata to ensure transparency and consistency.
- Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to streamline data pipelines and workflows.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- Work within Agile teams to support project deliverables and sprint goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one programming language (Python or R).
- Experience with data modeling, data governance, and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience developing data quality dashboards or automation scripts.
- Exposure to ETL processes, metadata management, or data catalog tools like Collibra or Informatica.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data validation techniques.
