Overview
We are seeking a Network Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting and maintaining enterprise network environments. The ideal candidate will assist in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure while ensuring performance, reliability, and security. This role requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with IT teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
- Implement and maintain network security controls, redundancy, and failover mechanisms.
- Assist in designing and documenting network architecture, configurations, and topology diagrams.
- Configure and manage IP addressing, routing, and connectivity for enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on upgrades, deployments, and change management activities.
- Participate in network capacity planning, monitoring, and performance optimization efforts.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and asset inventory.
- Support incident response and root cause analysis for network-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering or administration.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and routing/switching concepts.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting utilities (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
- Familiarity with cloud connectivity, load balancing, and network automation concepts.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
